Newsletter: The benefits of Growth Driven Design for businesses

Web design is changing. There’s a fast growing shift in how websites are built, planned and budgeted for and it’s a change that can really help businesses. Growth Driven Design is a new way of understanding and building websites. It capitalises on user experience and delivers websites that better meet customer and business needs. Here’s what you need to know…

Growth Driven Design in a nutshell

Growth Driven Design (or GDD) is essentially a new methodology for building a website. Instead of the traditional model, where websites are planned, built and then largely left until a redesign, GDD is based on continually refining a website. By following GDD you launch websites more quickly, with a lower lead-time and reduced upfront costs. Development then continues after launch so that the website is constantly re-evaluated and worked on to ensure it remains relevant and performs well with customers. This is achieved by observing how customers use the website, as well as reacting to market trends and the development of the business. If something changes, the website is refocused to match the changing need.

The benefits of Growth Driven Design for businesses

  • Websites can be launched and redesigned more quickly.

  • GDD ‘smoothes’ the investment curve – upfront build costs are reduced in favour of a more level ongoing investment.

  • GDD websites better meet customer and business needs as whenever something changes the website is adapted at the first opportunity.

  • The GDD approach is good for SEO as the website is updated more regularly, this can help your search engine rankings.

  • Websites delivered via GDD often appear more appealing and current to customers as they are continually adapted and refreshed.

We believe GDD is an exciting step forward in the world of web design that will lead to better, more relevant and more up-to-date websites. This is good for customers, but it’s good for businesses too.
